Hello,
In layman's term, it's the B-cells - lymphocytes (immune system) that will identify the virus and other bacteria. The B-cells will then produce the appropriate antibodies, to fight the diseases. The topic is too vast to be explained on the forum. But don't forget that Google is your friend. Does this help?
